It's about moderation.

I finally got into my Vegan Cupcakes Take Over the World cookbook by Isa last weekend and came up with these little beauties: Golden Vanilla cupcakes. I topped them with my very own blueberry icing using frozen blueberries, veggie shortening, earth balance and icing sugar. I know. But they're cupcakes, they aren't supposed to be good for you. One day I will stop pretending my phone is a camera.

At once there was bread, and it was good.

Oh beautiful bread maker! Why have I strayed so far and tarried so long?
The most gorgeous loaf of bread came to life yesterday - Carrot, all spice from the recipe book that came with my bread maker. It didn't taste like carrot at all! It was a light, fluffy, brown bread that emerged and I think the secret is to finely grate the carrot. Oh, joy.
I made it twice.

It's been quite a season. I have been delayed. I'm now returned with a montage of what's been happening:
This is my view at Bar North in September waiting for my friend A. As you can see, I've already started the Happy Hour. We meet every so often for wine and girl chat. I'm so glad.
